Feed The Need is Champion’s premier major fundraising event. It is a brand-new event concept we innovated as a way to raise significant money for your organization and, in the process, have your participants make a true difference in the world. The concept behind Feed The Need is essentially bringing an overseas “mission trip” experience onto a school campus or large meeting room.
Our founder helped pioneer the 100-hole golf marathon concept in 1990. These events are outrageously fun and involve your organization taking over a golf course for an entire day. Each golfer has a goal of playing 100 holes of golf (or less if preferred). Golf marathons take 5 – 12 hours to conduct, based on your format (ask for more details on our half-day marathons). Each golfer is in his/her own golf cart. The event wraps up with an inspiring and laughter-filled Awards Dinner or Awards Dessert.
Golf & Walk Events combine both golfers and non-golfers into one single event at a golf course. These events enable you to mobilize all of your supporters – not just those who play golf – into one major fundraising event. Your non-golfers come to the golf course and participate in a nine-hole walkathon on the course, either as a walking spectator gallery with your golfers or on a separate nine-hole track where each hole offers special activities, games, contests, etc.
Champion Live Dinner Auctions are big parties with a big cause! Live Dinner Auctions involve a seated banquet-style dinner with a compelling theme plus silent and live auction items, a live auctioneer and an inspiring program. Live Dinner Auctions are ideal opposite-season events to any of our other Champion fundraising events.
